Our Equipment, Products & Suppliers
Each client is an individual with his/her own problems, expectations and skin or hair types. That is why we can never emphasise enough the significance of an accurate initial assessment so that the correct, individualised treatment plan can be devised by taking in to consideration your needs, our knowledge and the available technologies. We will never hesitate in declining treatment or suggesting other avenues if we truly believe this to be in your best interest.
We have invested heavily in a number of technologies across our sites from two of the world leaders in the field. These include:
The Lumenis-One System
The Lumenis-One System is the very latest (www.aesthetic.lumenis.com) providing integrated IPL, Nd:Yag and Lightsheer modules with different spot sizes, seven changeable filters and a sapphire cool light guide set plus a detailed patient database. This allows us to offer permanent hair reduction for all skin types (from white, Asian to black, including tanned skin) and also other treatments for pigmented lesions, thread veins, rosacea, photo-rejuvenation, pseudo-folliculitis barbae, etc.

The Lightsheer ET Diode Laser System
The Lumenis Lightsheer ET Diode Laser System is particularly useful for providing effective and fast hair removal across wide areas as it glides virtually painlessly across the surface of the skin unlike the Nd:Yag or IPL systems which need to be fired spot at a time. Thus we have invested heavily to offer this latest hair removal system to all our clients across the East and West Midlands.

The Lynton Lumina-Q System
The Lynton Lumina-Q System (www.lynton.co.uk) is the top of the range offering from this UK manufacturer and includes IPL, a long-pulsed Nd:Yag and also a Q-switched Nd:Yag laser system, again with a detailed patient database. The IPL allows permanent hair reduction from skin types 1-5, skin rejuvenation and also the removal of skin blemishes, superficial benign pigmentation or vascular lesions and active acne. The long pulsed Nd:Yag laser is ideal for long term hair reduction in all skin types, including skin type 6 and for the treatment of deep-rooted hairs. It can also be used for the removal of deeper veins over the entire body. The active Q-Switched Laser is acknowledged as the gold standard in tattoo removal amongst dermatologists, 1064 nm being ideal for blue/black ink pigments and 532 nm for red/orange colours.

The Lynton Paragon Q-Switched Nd:Yag Laser 1064/532
The Lynton Paragon Q-Switched Nd:Yag Laser 1064/532 has been used in our Walsall Clinic for tattoo removal for over a decade with many satisfied clients. It is regularly maintained to offer proven, unsurpassed technology in this difficult and highly specialised field.

The Sharplan/Lumenis Ruby 5000 Epitouch Laser
The Sharplan/Lumenis Ruby 5000 Epitouch Laser has again been successfully used for a long time for tattoo removal in our Walsall Clinic and its regular service should ensure continued satisfaction for our clients for years to come. In fact, a local private hospital recognised the successes achieved by our staff in this field and thus ceased their own facility, transferring all their tattoo removal patients to our clinic.

The Lynton ThermaClinic
The Lynton ThermaClinic represents a new era in medical facial sculpting for those not yet ready for a surgical face-lift or invasive injections/fillers. It uses a radio-frequency system to heat the collagen, thereby causing both tissue contraction for an uplifting immediate result and also stimulating new collagen formation to provide a more sustained benefit. This technique can also break down fat cells without damaging the surrounding tissues. Overall, it reduces superficial wrinkles and enlarged pores, whilst improving skin tone and texture to produce a younger look and feel. The treatments are easy to administer, very gentle (almost like a hot stone massage), low risk and pain-free with no downtime. Thus, you can come in during your lunch break, have your treatment and then go straight back to work.

The Lynton Skin Abrasive
The Lynton Skin Abrasive is a non-invasive procedure that exfoliates the Stratum Corneum (the upper most layer of the skin) through mechanical removal of the dead cells to reveal a healthier, rejuvenated glow to your skin after the very first treatment. It uses tiny, chemically inert, non-toxic aluminium oxide crystals for the exfoliation which then promotes skin renewal but it also has a micro-lifting vacuum to reshape tired muscles within minutes. A lift can be achieved around the jaw line and eyebrows for early to moderate signs of aging. It is suitable for all skin types and for a wide range of skin problems, including rejuvenation, hyper-pigmentation, sun damage, fine lines around the eyes, mild-moderate acne scaring, lax muscles and poor lymphatic drainage, etc.

Hyfrecator 2000
We use this device from Conmed for all types of minor surgical procedures to remove benign moles, common viral warts, seborrhoeic warts, skin tags, solar keratoses, spider naevi, telangiectasias, etc. It is versatile and can be used to treat many conditions by delivering rapid, precise destruction of all types of cutaneous malformations. Small lesions can even be treated without anaesthesia.

The Cryoalfa
The Cryoalfa provides a convenient, quick, safe and effective way of removing small, nuisance skin lesions such as warts, verrucas and tags with the minimum of fuss. It uses the tried and trusted power of liquid nitrogen to literally freeze away the affected area by cooling it to -89ºC to a depth of 3mm.
Cosmedix and Obagi Skin Care Systems
We are one of the few UK stockists of these two ranges (www.cosmedix.com and www.obagi.com).
The Cosmedix range of chirally corrected products is made from natural ingredients. They are highly effective, hypo-allergenic and cruelty-free. They are not usually available in your high street.
On the other hand, Dr Obagi has produced physician-grade systems for problems such as mottled skin, melasma, hyper-pigmentation, acne, wrinkles and laxity.
For a nominal charge we can also offer a special skin scan to further clarify your skin’s condition and thus target the best treatments for your particular complaint.
Jane Iredale Mineral Makeup
We have been extremely impressed by the quality and range of these products (www.janeiredale.com) and they are also highly recommended by many dermatologists and cosmetic surgeons. Mineral cosmetics contain no chemical dyes, perfumes, talc or preservatives and thus have almost nothing to sensitise your skin. They are suitable for everyday use, allowing the skin to function and breathe normally whilst giving complete, weightless coverage as well as both UVA and UVB protection. We feel it is imperative to ensure adequate daily long term future sun protection in order to maximise the benefits of our skin rejuvenation treatments.

Muscle Relaxing Injections
Wrinkles such as worry lines on the forehead, frown lines between the eyes and crow’s feet are caused by overactive muscle movement which gradually wear away the collagen in the skin, causing it to crease and thus wrinkles to appear. Muscle relaxing injections reversibly weaken these muscles, thereby reducing the wrinkles within days and the effects can last up to 6 months. A highly effective treatment for these wrinkles is manufactured by Allergan (www.allergan.co.uk) and is known as Vistabel (Botox). It has now been formally approved for some cosmetic uses in the UK and it is also licensed for excessive under arm sweating (axillary hyperhidrosis).
Back to topDermal Fillers
These are useful for the more fixed line/wrinkles, to augment existing lips or cheeks and also to replenish age-related loss of volume. Many types are currently available, including Restylane (www.restylane.com).
